This privacy policy applies to the Yarnbie - Crochet & Knit Guide app (hereby referred to as "Application") created by Fari Studio. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

To provide a personalized crafting experience, save your project progress, and enable custom pattern generation, the Application collects the following types of information:
- Account & Authentication Data: When you sign in (e.g., via Google Authentication), we collect basic profile details (such as your User ID, name, and email address) to manage your account, track remaining requests, and sync your data.
- Pattern & Progress Data: Your generated patterns, saved library items, step completion statuses, and row counter progress are stored securely in Firebase Firestore so you can resume your projects anytime.
- User Inputs & Uploads: Text prompts, uploaded images, or documents (PDFs) provided to generate custom patterns are processed strictly for the purpose of creating your requested crochet instructions.
- Usage Data & Analytics: We track general app performance and interaction metrics anonymously via Firebase Analytics to optimize user experience.
- Subscription & Payment Data: Purchases and subscriptions are managed securely via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or have access to your financial or payment card details.
2. Third-Party Services
To deliver core features, pattern processing, and secure infrastructure, the Application integrates with trusted third-party service providers:
- Google Play Services & Auth: Account sign-in, core infrastructure, and secure payments.
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database for saving patterns/progress, Analytics, and Crashlytics.
- Google Gemini / Cloud AI: Used securely for processing user inputs and generating custom crochet instructions.
- RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions and validates purchase entitlements.
- Google AdMob: Used for displaying advertisements (if applicable).
3. Data Safety & Security
We value your trust in providing us your information. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account and pattern library. We do not sell your personal data or uploaded crafting images to any third parties.
4. Advertising ID & Opt-Out
The Application may use standard device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID) for ad customization or analytics. You can manage or reset this ID at any time via your device settings: Settings > Google > Ads.
5. Children’s Privacy
The Application is intended for a general audience of craft enthusiasts. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
